Learning Outcomes |

The purpose of the course is to: • present the fundamental concepts and principles that govern the organization and management of a modern business • present the modern techniques applied for the organization and management of the processing sector of agricultural products. • analyze the specific structural and economic characteristics of agricultural farms • describe the economic environment in which the agricultural farm operates The course aims to enable students to: • Determine the economic, political and social environment in which the farm will operate. • Set realistic goals and objectives for the production unit, studying the factors that affect its operation. • Apply modern methods of business organization, management and control. • Make decisions about the future of a business. • Understand the decision-making process |

• The economic system and the business. Principles and characteristics of the business. • Factors of production, economics of production • Preparation of budgets • Introduction to uncertainty and risk management • Investment analysis • Farm economics, financial accounts • Decision-making processes in management and their improvement • Improving cropping plans using research data • Use of software in agricultural holdings |
