2. LEARNING OUTCOMES
Learning Outcomes |

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to: 1. Understand the basic concepts of cooperation and cooperative entrepreneurship 2. Understand the purposes of cooperative entrepreneurship as well as the basic characteristics of cooperatives 3. Distinguish the characteristics that differentiate cooperative enterprises from other enterprises 4. Become familiar with the basic cooperative values and principles 5. Become familiar with economic theory and points of contact with cooperation and cooperative entrepreneurship 6. Become familiar with the structure and organization of cooperatives, as well as the legislation governing the operating framework of cooperatives 7. Understand the benefits of cooperative activity 8. Identify the weaknesses and problems of cooperatives in the Greece 9. Assess the necessity of expanding cooperative education in Greece 10. Become familiar with the cooperative activity both in the EU and at the global level 11. Become familiar with the development of the cooperative movement in Greece 12. Understand the operating framework of New Generation cooperatives 13. Finally perceive, through exemplary applications, good practices of cooperative entrepreneurship from the Mediterranean countries. |
