Learning Outcomes

The purpose of the course is to teach the student:
- The history of agricultural education
- Basic concepts of agricultural education
- Objects of agricultural education
- The basic concepts of agricultural education
- The forms of education (formal education, non-formal education, initial vocational training, continuing vocational training)
- Adult education and lifelong learning
- Elements of pedagogy
- Basic principles of modern teaching
- Design of educational programs
- Teaching of educational programs
- Research methodology in education


Upon successful completion of the course students should be able to:
- Know the basic concepts and objects of agricultural education.
- Know the technical vocational education (rural agricultural)
- Know the process of learning within the professional, educational system (basic vocational education, further education/training).
- Have the competences related to educational planning (organisation/methods/content selection)
- make effective use of teaching and pedagogical methods and tools

STUDENT PERFORMANCE EVALUATION Written Examination, Oral Presentation of papers, written assignments.

In the final grade, 70% of the final written examination and 30% of the final grade is based on the preparation and presentation of a paper before the end of the semester.

II. Preparation of a paper (30%) concerning the design and presentation of a micro-teaching.
